CHATSWORTHWeb Design

Effective October 19, 2026

What we collect, and why.

Plain language. The whole policy, with nothing hidden in a definitions section.

Who we are

This website, chatsworthwebdesign.com, is operated by United Digital Corporation, a technology group based in Chicago, Illinois, with its web design studio in Chatsworth, California. This policy covers the website, the speed test, the offer pages under /go, and the text messages we send from our business number. It explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Information you give us directly:

  • The contact form: your name, business, email address, phone number and what you need.
  • The offer form: your name, email address, phone number, business name, what you need, and your agreement to be called and texted.
  • The speed test: the address of the website you ask us to test, and, if you ask for the report, your name, business, email address and phone number.
  • Conversations with us by email, phone or text: whatever you choose to tell us, and the records of those conversations.

Information collected automatically when you visit:

  • A first-party visitor id and session id stored in cookies on our domain, so a return visit is recognised.
  • Attribution data when you arrive from an advertisement, such as the campaign and the click identifiers the advertising platform appends to the link.
  • Page views and interactions, sent to our own analytics endpoint.
  • The Meta pixel, which lets Meta measure whether our advertising led to a visit or an enquiry. Where we send Meta an email address or phone number for matching, it is hashed first.
  • Standard server logs: IP address, browser, device and the pages requested.

How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and to design, build and host the website you ask for.
  • To run the speed test you requested and send you its report.
  • To send you the text messages described below, if you have opted in.
  • To understand how the site is used and how our advertising performs.
  • To keep the site secure and to prevent abuse of our forms.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have a legal effect on you.

Text messaging

When you opt in by sending a form that carries a text message consent, or by texting our business number, we may send you messages about your enquiry and your website, including updates while it is being built and a link to it when it is ready, and, if you have separately agreed, messages about offers and announcements. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the address below. After you text STOP we send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.

Who sees it

We share personal information only with the service providers that run our systems, and only so they can do that work for us:

  • Vercel, which hosts this site and the websites we build.
  • Resend, which delivers our email.
  • HighLevel (LeadConnector), which runs our text messaging and customer records.
  • Neon, which stores our analytics and enquiry records.
  • Google, whose PageSpeed Insights service runs the speed test.
  • Meta, for advertising measurement as described above.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.

Cookies

We set first-party cookies for the visitor id, the session id and attribution data. The Meta pixel sets its own cookies under Meta’s policy. You can clear or block cookies in your browser. The site keeps working without them; we simply stop recognising your return visits.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records and conversation history are kept for as long as we work with you and for seven years afterwards for accounting and legal purposes. Speed test results are kept for one year. Analytics and attribution data are kept for up to two years. Text message opt-in and opt-out records are kept for as long as we need to honour your choice.

Your choices and rights

  • Text messages: reply STOP to opt out at any time.
  • Email: every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link; email about an active project continues.
  • Access, correction and deletion: write to us at the address below and we will respond within thirty days. We may need to verify your identity first.
  • California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, contact us.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access will never occur, but we will tell you and the authorities where the law requires it.

Children

This site and our messaging are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. A change in substance is announced on this page for thirty days.
